The rest of North America is beyond beautiful, but not many people in the US realize it when they’re stuck at their desks working nonstop. Especially not teenagers, many of whom have not been outside of their own towns.
British Columbia is a spectacular area with multiple wilderness-exploration activities. Whistler Blackcomb is home to the infamous Whistler Resort that is one of the most environmentally-friendly establishments in the world. It also boasts popular ski and snowboard slopes that have been ridden in the annual World Cup Freestyle Competition and the 2010 Winter Olympics.
From the snow to the boats, the area also has great kayaking and is perfect for beginners. Move yet again to the rocks and get to climbing.
So if you get a chance, take a look north and roam around all of the treasures available.
